Kai Tiltmann

Dr. Kai Tiltmann, D.C.

Dr. Tiltmann graduate from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in 1998 and opened Financial District Chiropractic in downtown San Francisco in 2005.

He specializes in treating patients suffering from chronic low back pain, the primary cause of disability world wide according to the World Health Organization. He is a McGill Method Provider with specialized training to assess chronic low back pain triggers and develop treatment plans to eliminate symptoms. These cases have become chronic because of unresponsiveness to interventions including: physical therapy, chiropractic, acupuncture, massage, exercises, yoga, palates, injections, medication/opioids and sometimes surgery.

In addition to his focus on the low back he treats other musculoskeletal conditions of the spine and extremities. For therapeutic intervention; Graston Technique®. and Active Release Technique® (ART) are incorporated for soft tissues rehabilitation as well as specific exercise programs.

He is available for speaking engagements regarding ergonomics and low back pain prevention.

Dr. Kris Blum

Dr. Kris Blum, D.C.

Dr. Kris Blum’s dedication to chiropractic care shows in her outstanding academic career as 2008 salutatorian and summa cum laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic West. But her motivation goes well beyond academics, with an active engagement in keeping all her patients active and pain-free. She treats patients with conditions of the back and neck, as well as conditions that affect the extremities (shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, ankle and feet). She practices a variety of chiropractic techniques, including the most cutting-edge soft-tissue treatments, Kinesio Tape application, exercises and rehabilitation conditioning.

Dr. Blum is a certified provider of Active Release Techniques® (ART), a patented movement-based massage system, and the Graston Technique®, which can be used to treat chronic, acute and post-surgical soft-tissue conditions. Graston Technique® is an instrument-assisted soft-tissue therapy, which uses stainless-steel instruments to break down scar tissue and fascial restrictions while improving blood flow and joint function.

Dr. Blum is a member of the Bay Area Sports Chiropractors (BASC), providing treatment to athletes in the San Francisco Marathon, the Cinderella Classic, Escape from Alcatraz triathlon and many others. She was an ART® provider for the 2007 Ironman Championship in Kona, HI. Dr. Blum finds that her own participation in running, cycling, swimming, snowboarding, wakeboarding, hiking, and yoga increases her understanding of movement, health and healing of the body.

Dr. Nick Santos, DC

Dr. Nick Santos, D.C.

Dr. Santos graduated from National University of Health Sciences with a Doctorate in Chiropractic. He treats a variety of musculoskeletal disorders including back and neck pain, as well as conditions of the upper and lower extremities.

He utilizes various treatment techniques including chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue mobilization, corrective exercises and rehabilitation. He’s specialized in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, which uses the patient’s response to specific movements to treat musculoskeletal pain and associated conditions. This therapy gives a patient the ability to understand the causes of their pain and empowers them to control and manage their symptoms.

Dr. Santos received chiropractic treatment as a high school and collegiate wrestler. As a life-long athlete, he experienced how beneficial chiropractic care is in treating and preventing injuries. He maintains an active lifestyle including CrossFit, hiking and fishing.
